VANTAGE: Where Uganda’s elderly & the disabled are treated

THE elderly in Uganda, the disabled and the sick have for so long been facing challenges related to how they are treated, taken care of and the conditions in which they live when they clock their evening hours.

Such questions and many more, are now answered by Vantage Care Limited Uganda, that offers non-medical, personalized and compassionate home care services to persons with disabilities, the sick, the aged, among others.

Vantage Care is located in Kasangati, Masoli, along Gayaza Road and is open 24/7.

MR NKORE THE PROPRIATOR: Mr. Bernabas Nkore, a Ugandan born, who’s now living in Boston, USA, spearheaded the foundation of Vintage Care from his savings without any government intervention. People like Nkore need to be applauded for solving some of the country’s stumbling blocks.

According to Mr. Allan Luswata, who works in the Communication Department of the facility, he says it’s a great move that such services most especially to the elderly and disabled are rare in Uganda, when they are put in place, by providers like Vantage, it’s a great milestone. He has gone ahead to ask for the government intervention by giving a helping hand.   

Vantage has also started up a teaching facility for healthcare providers were they will acquire various skills on how to take care of the elderly, needy & the sick.
