The road has been undergoing repairs for three months
Transport and Roads Minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala said only small vehicles and buses were allowed to pass through the road.
Trucks will be allowed to continue using the roads they have been using during the road closure, Minister Katumba Wamala said.
A special prayer service was held led by the clergy, who dedicated Karuma Road to God
