MP Shamim Malende was rushed to Nairobi Hospital in a state of shock

MP Shamim Malende has been rushed to Agakhan Nairobi Hospital in Kenya, in a state of shock.

Malende has been living with the funeral for some time and is being treated at various hospitals in Uganda and Kenya, and I was recovered.

However, after the riots in Parliament in November 2024, the opposition MPs were protesting against the Uganda Coffee Development Authority ( UCDA) at the Ministry of Agriculture, one of the plainclothes officers who entered the proposed room, and was treated badly.

At around 10pm on April 10, 2025 he was taken from his home in Kawempe Ttula, to Nairobi, in a state of shock.

Nassuuna Jane Francis, Malende’s mother, said she still does not know the truth about her daughter’s life.

Shamim Malende was elected as the MP for Kampala in 2021 on the NUP card, and is one of the lawyers who worked hard in the gun cases of Makindye West MPs Allan Ssewannyana and the late Kawempe Northern Kawempe.
