Bobi Wine’s man in Butambala – Matovu Musa Kimirante, who’s willing to uproot the Butambala legislator Muwanga Kivumbi, has vowed to do all what it takes to put to an end to all injustices in the Museveni led regime.
Matovu, who was speaking at a National Unity Platform -NUP ceremony at their headquarters at Makerere Kavule told reporters that it’s surprising how this government is keeping NUP supporters behind bars on false and political charges ever since they were arrested in the runner up to the 2021 general elections. He further castigated the government for arresting those wearing red Barrets, yet such attire has nothing to do with the UPDF army clothings.
Musa, the man from Butambala wondered why NRM propagandists such as a Rwandese origin Frank Gashumba, Kitgum woman MP, Lilian Aber, famous journalist who often refers to himself as an old man of the clan among others, have on several occasions been seen doning military attire but no charges have ever put against them.
Matovu adds that these and many more, are the reasons that by hook or crook, come 2026, he has to uproot the current Butambala MP Muwanga Kivumbi, who also doubles as the chairman Buganda caucus, were he has been accused of doing nothing in the later seat!
