Police in Amudat District have today 4.2.24 at around 03:30pm registered a nasty incident where four people who were traveling in Motorvehicle Registerion No. UBP 601Q Toyota Harrier black in colour were shot dead by suspected armed thugs along Lemusui Road within Akonguyo village, Amudat Subcounty, Amudat District.
A team of detectives visited the scene together with a canine dog and established that all the four victims are from Mbale, no arrest made.
Police recovered 13 bullets, 5 smart phones and business document papers at the crime scene
According IP police spokesperson Moroto region Longole Mike says,Some tangible evidence were recovered and statements were recorded from witnesses to support investigations.
The bodies were conveyed to Amudat Hospital mortuary for Postmortem and collection by the relatives.
