CAF HAS ALLOWED UGANDA AND BURUNDI TO HOST THEIR MATCHES AT NAKIVUBO-NO MORE THAN 7000 FANS

The Confederation of African Football CAF has allowed Uganda and Burundi to use Nakivubo Stadium for two matches in the 2025 CHAN qualifiers.

Burundi will first host Uganda at Nakivubo Stadium on December 26,2024, followed by Uganda hosting Burundi at the same stadium on December 29,2

CAF has selected Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania to host the CHAN finals from 01 to 28 February,

Although Uganda will play Burundi in the qualifiers, Uganda have already qualified as hosts, but Burundi and others are fighting for the one remaining spot for teams from this Cecafa region.

CAF has also ordered that no more than 7,000 fans should be allowed to attend the match between Uganda and Burundi.

Senegal are the champions of the last Chan tournament, and the tournament is only attended by players playing in their countries.
